This is a great app for studying the scriptures in any location. You can play it while youre driving, walking, or as you study your Bible at home. I think it will develop a deeper understanding of the scriptures because of its usefulness.

Five dollars is a bargain for this massive Biblical resource. The Matthew Henry Commentary app does everything it ought to do: it has highlighting, night reading mode, font size adjustment, and it has a search system that well accommodates Matthew Henrys unique note style. One thing in particular that stood out is that the app well supports copy and paste, which many others do not do very well. Keep up the good work!

This app is dope! Cant believe I have the whole six volume set Matthew Henry commentary he in my phone. Great for random questions I have when reading my word. Such a great tool God has blessed us with. Get if you can!

I love this app. The font size can be increased or decreased according to ones preference (I like the larger font). But my favorite thing about the app is he way you can jump to a later section of the commentary. For example, if your research deals with Matthew 1:17, then you can jump ahead in the commentary to read the discussion applicable to that section. This is a time saver because often times I dont need to read through several pages (or scroll down several pages like other commentary apps) just to get to the section I need. The final thing I like is that when the commentary references a bible verse, if you touch the verse, the verse in its entirety shows up so you dont have to go to a Bible app or open your Bible. It is an all-inclusive app!

I am excited about having this App on my cell, because it is very convenient. (I own the Calvin Commentary and use it often.) It is quite convenient when doing a Bible Study to access these, and I know my family are going to love it. I really like being able to click on reference Bible verses and see them during the study. However, I have one negative comment. The computerized voice that reads the material, is getting some word pronunciation wrong and the monotoned voice is a bit bothersome, which makes it difficult to listen and actually pay attention to the material when read. As I rather read the material anyway, it seems small to me, however I know my husband and son love to listen. This is great for on the go, when you cant carry an entire commentary set. Good for church Bible stories and quick references.

Love the accessibility of this app. Having the Calvin commentary now coupled with the Matthew Henry on my phone is an amazing tool for my sermon prep and devotional times. Not to mention it is easy to use and great looking.

I love this app. The design is clean and beautiful. The app offers great features that are very useful such as night mode, audio commentary for moments were you cant read, ease to share passages on social media as well. Overall great app!

Ok, I L-O-V-E this app… there are so many things I like about it. First, it is perfect to enrich a Christians life, and the audio makes whole the difference! I also really like the highlights/bookmarks… Overall, I feel the app is very well thought out, and very easy to use.

Im a Pastor and Im telling you right now every time I open this app it crashes. Dont pay this app unless you want to chance it. Blessings

I have used MHC for many year; I came across this at the Apple Store; sadly to say Im very disappointed it continues to crash, or stop working, I hope I didnt waste my money!

I really love this app, as well as the Calvins Commentary app this developer has also produced. Having such amazing resources with you at all times is invaluable and certainly worth a few dollars. This is great to have for devotional purposes, helping answer questions on the fly, sermon/teaching prep, etc. **I see some have complained about issues, (and though I dont have any issues with the app personally) I will say Ive had the Calvin version of this app for a number of months and followed the developers Instagram account, and can confidently say any issue will quickly be resolved should it exist! This guy is very passionate and very active, always making improvements, and interacting with people. Things arent always perfect when theyre made, so be patient and whatever the problem is will be fixed. Youll definitely be glad you did.

There is no price for this valuable resource in app form for bible studies and deviotionals. The app is very user friendly with highlight capabilities. Highly recommend it.

I had the privilege of testing this app before it made it to the App Store and am happy to own it as well. It is a great app to have on Matthew Henry. The audio feature is very helpful and I love the night mode.
